I will advocate for DIV-SIX progress, creating more to see and do for residents and visitors! As the home of some of Queensland’s most popular tourist destinations and attractions DIV-SIX must receive sufficient funding to maintain and improve these important assets.  As a member of the Bundaberg Regional Council Sport & Recreation Committee I’m proud of the part I played in enhancements to the boat ramps and parking areas at the port but there is much more that needs to be done for DIV-SIX to reach its potential.

 

I will continue to stand up for DIV-SIX to ensure the area is no longer overshadowed and overlooked for projects, making it a better place to live, raise a family and improve employment opportunities.

• Building and maintaining better roads, footpaths, drains  and bikeways, including a multi-modal pathway connecting Bundaberg to the Port and along the coast to Elliott Heads. 

• Community, Sporting and Recreational facilities for all ages and abilities.

• Further boating and jetty improvements at Burnett Heads and Elliott Heads

• Enhanced Waste Management & Recycling Techniques.

• Improving accessibility for people with a mobility impairment. 

• Working towards a responsive public transport system.

• Supporting Community Events, Festivals & Celebrations.

• Collaborating on innovative housing solutions.

• Assuring quality and value of Council Services.

• Ensuring community safety.
